On Wednesday, President Biden delivered remarks on the state of American labor unions and infrastructure, emphasizing his administration's desire to see the country move towards more eco-friendly forms of transportation and energy.
While discussing such technologies, Biden claimed that electric vehicles could keep homes lit up when storms cut off power.
$5K for a backup generator...nonsense. $8K for a 24KV, $1500 for electrical, $1500 for LP hookup, $3K for a 500 gal. LP tank. That's $14K.
ReplyDeletePoliticians, especially those in California, have been lead to believe that electric vehicles are practical and sustainable when they clearly are not. CARB is trying to pass regulation that will force us to start replacing our diesel trucks, 3/4 ton and up, with electric trucks even though no one makes on that will work in most of our construction use applications.
ReplyDeleteBiden should transition his beloved Corvette to EV.
ReplyDeleteClassic cars should be Built Back Better.
Do it for unity, FJB.
Yup, and next morning your house is without power again and your car is dead so you can't leave. Jeepers, man, ain't nobody got a dozen half-empty propane cylinders and a Coleman lantern with one missing mantle and no matches?
ReplyDeleteDoes he mean when they catch fire
ReplyDeleteNot to support the kidsniffer, but this morning a bunch of academics and a recycling company came out and claimed that end of life EV car batteries can be used for house power.
ReplyDeleteI suspect its vapour ware to try and protect biden.

Just when we thought that Michael Dukakis was the dumbest Democrat to ever run for president against the Republicans, they not only run FJB, but they cheat enough to get him into office. At least the Republicans were not so stupid as to cheat and get Mitt Romney elected in 2012.
