Excavator falls off a cliff (it was being remotely controlled; no one was hurt)

If you'll look closely in the video you can see the operator standing behind it, not in it.

    1. Looks like a hammer on it so probably scaling the cliff to stop rock fall

    2. Daryl is right. Recent landslide above an apartment building, they were trying to dislodge a boulder with a hydraulic demolition hammer.

    1. Those hammers beat the shit out of the machine they're mounted on. Always use them on the unit that's not far from the scrap yard anyway. Of course, if this is in China, that describes pretty much the entire fleet.
