Commentary: Biden Burns Taxpayer Dollars While American Wages Continue to Plummet

Today’s jobs report shows that Americans’ real wages declined for the 20th consecutive month, and labor force participation fell for the third straight month. The numbers indicate Americans continue to suffer from falling living standards under the Biden administration.

Boosting real wages and restoring the labor force is the job of the new Congress. Unfortunately, the old Congress wants to make this task as hard as possible by doing damage on its way out.

    1. Actually, burning dollars makes sense, since more dollars = less value per dollar; which is why they're running the presses 24/7.

  2. Understand we have no less than two more years of Republicans, particularly in the Senate, working with the Democrats to keep conservatives under their boot. They’re more concerned with making money for themselves.

  3. I'm feeling it this year. inflation has basically stolen a month+ of income.

it is laughable the government official inflation calculation doesnt consider things like fuel, energy, food... 8% inflation, my ass. closer to 20% in real life.

    1. I think it's around 18%. Check out John Williams at shadowstats.com He calculates inflation the way it used to be calculated back in the 80's. They changed the formula to screw people. Anyway, I went to the Dr's office Monday and the PA came and got me in the waiting room which is unusual. I ask her if someone was sick and she said no. They can't get anyone to work anymore. I really don't blame them. With how the government is screwing them with inflation (figure they lost 20% in the last year) and taxes it just isn't worth it. I thank God I'm retired now but the last couple years working was hard watching my paycheck shrink as the gov't wasted hundreds of billions of dollars on stupid shit. The mexicans have the right idea. They're driving 60, 70, 80 thousand dollar trucks while paying no taxes.

  4. FED notes and inflation are why I park FRNs into my home business or precious metals until I have enough to exchange for land, stock, or something that appreciates. Return to a silver backed currency and these inflation problems will be largely moot.

  5. Zelensky was just named "Person of the Year" by Time magazine.

That ought to be good for another $500 Billion which we don't have.

    1. The new Republican Chucks congress will go along. Nothing will fookin change. If voting mattered they’d not let us do it. Now they let us do it but fix/game the voting system. Nothing matters till the guy next to you gets his fookin melon exploded by aimed rifle fire. Nothing will change till the pests are removed. Time to call The Orkin Man.
