I'm gonna guess you're not a pet owner now and never have been. Every animal I've ever owned has shown me affection, and there's a big difference between 'interest' and affection.
#3 is a female Ecelctus. I have a male. They are the most bipolar of the bird world. You gotta be careful with them by the face. FUn birds though b/c of their intelligence. But also b/c of theier intelligence they have no business in captivity. I regret getting one.
