my dog slim used to do that to my neighbor's grandkid. she was maybe 18-22 pounds and slim was 110 pounds easy. she did things to him that scared me to death. and all he ever did was lick her face harder and faster. and taking his ass to the vet required meds to clam his ass down. and a muzzle. he was very protective of little kids, adults not so much.
No child should grow up without a dog. Try to change my mind.
