Man, how hungry do you have to be to hold up McDonald's for food???
NEW YORK - The New York City Police Department is looking for a man they say robbed more than two dozen chicken nuggets and double cheeseburgers from a Bronx McDonald's after threatening the cashier with a knife.
Given he robbed a well surveilled place with his mask down for a minor (in NYC) crime I bet he's looking for a warm cot and 3 hots for the coming cold wave.
3 hots and a cot, most likely. Getting money, and then having to warm his take, probably wasn't part of his life-sryle. Even baloney sandwiches on stale bread but in a warm place probably hit his sweeet spot. That time of year. The cardboard on a door step didn't seem all that inviting.
Here's my philosophy: In 2 Corinthians 9:7, the apostle Paul said, "God loves a cheerful giver." While encouraging the believers in Corinth to give generously, Paul didn't want them to give beyond their means, "reluctantly or under compulsion." Most importantly, he wanted them to rely on their inner convictions.
Guess the....aw forget it.

ReplyDeleteI shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.
ReplyDeleteI robbed a McD in NYC, just to see what they'd do.
From stealing bubblegum, cto arson, rape, or murder, the crime is n9t for what first appears.

If we deduct all the thefts, they’ll owe us when “reparations” come around….
