"It's a human issue, and it's also a public health issue," said Deidra Mwalimu, founder of the Network of Women NOW. "After COVID with the shutdown, the access to period products increased, so students do lack the opportunity to have access to products and food at the same time."
Feminine hygiene products have been especially difficult for college students to find. The non-profit Network of Women created a campaign in October to 'End Period Poverty'.

Poor Baby. They should go back to the mommy.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't be that hard to find. They are putting them in both genders' rest rooms these days.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say, check the mens room. Explains the shortage, too.
DeleteI guess the Gimme Dats don't want to pay Amazon to get their period supplies?
ReplyDeleteOdd how everywhere I shop the ladies section seems well supplied. Maybe it's a Nawlins problem?
Beaucoup crotch rags here too.
ReplyDeleteHave they tried the Men's room?
ReplyDeleteIf this is not already a "national problem," it soon will be. TV'd a few times and it's a nationwide shortage.
ReplyDeleteI guess they never heard of “Cherokee hair tampons” ?
ReplyDeletetemporary solution for this problem would be ...get preggers... won't need them things for about 9 months. by then the shortage should be over. just be sure the baby daddy is well off enough to keep you off welfare
ReplyDelete"Feminine hygiene products have been especially difficult for college students to find. "
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought they are supposed to be smart.
Guess it's time to get their panties in a wad eh?
ReplyDeleteMore of them being used for bullet wound treatment, maybe?
ReplyDeleteI dunno about this lack of feminine hygiene products ... something smells fishy here.
