NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - After being closed for some time, the main branch of the Nashville Public Library on Church Street has reopened.
Staff said the location was closed on Friday because of a case of body lice. The location was closed after administrators said body lice was found on the third floor, leaving some library members scared to come back.
We got the bums hanging in my local library. They lounge in the nice comfortable cloth covered sofas especially in the cold weather pretending to read magazines. So rule #1 is: Never sit down. #2: get your reading material and scoot asap. Of cource the local Libs demand that the "poor souls" are untouchable and the library staff, what's left of them, are too scared to even approached these unwashed druggy scum.
In the year and a half since we moved to TN, we only visited Nashville once. I won't say we had a bad time, but there is nothing that would compel us to go back for another visit. And after reading crap like this, my opinion gets reinforced.
Miguel, I feel ya. I live about 40 miles NNE of Nashville. We've been here going on 7 years and I've only been to Nashville proper one time, and that was for a specialist's appointment for my wife right after we got here. That was enough for me. I just can't handle the traffic. I have been to the airport to pick up or drop off people 4 or 5 times, but that's on the outskirts so I didn't have to actually go through or into Nashville.
My ancestors moved to Tennessee in 1810. In 1880 they saw what was coming and, beating the rush, moved to Texas. My father, bless his memory, looked around Texas and headed to Montana about 1950. Trust me. You'd hate it here. (The alternate story, that the authorities force us to move about every 70 years is a vile defamation and you'd still hate it here.)
Lice aren’t the only vermin there.
