The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is set to open public comment on the dangers of gas stoves sometime this winter. The commission could set standards on emissions from the gas stoves, or even look to ban the manufacture or import of the appliances, commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg News.
This is to detract us from Brandon's possession of top secret documents.
ReplyDeleteFuck Joe Biden!
Courtesy of Peter Grant....."Biden's cabinet is so Jewish that they want to ban gas ovens."
ReplyDeleteBINGO, you got that correct Nylon! That's why the Libs came down like gang busters on Kanye West.
DeleteIt was during the Kavanaugh hearings when I became aware that there are so many Roman Catholics in D.C.
DeleteThe plan is to threaten loss of home owners insurance if you want to keep your stove.
ReplyDeletePublic/private fuckery.
Borrowed from " Diogenes Middle Finger": " Good News! They're not "banning" Gas Stoves Per Se.
ReplyDeleteThey just want to design them better, just like they did with the Super Safety Federal Plastic Gasoline Can and Toilets that require two or three flushes in order to save water."
"And we'll redesign the light bulb so that if you break one of ours you'll be required to hire an EPA approved HazMat Mitigation Team to come in and pick up the pieces. Yeah! That's the ticket!"
Delete"Vote for us! We're really smart!"
You’ve cooked your allotted ration and have had enough heat for the day peasant.
DeleteI remember those toilets, your turds just went round and round, and some floaters just refused to flush even after 5 flushes.
Delete@Luis-TheTurdMaster
Come and take it; I dare you.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, if we let them ban gas stoves, barbeques will also be considered a stove. And they will prohibit all wood- and charcoal-burning as well.
ReplyDeleteEverything will be electric (which the grid already can't handle,) so only those Cadres who blindly adhere to Party Doctrine will be permitted any electricity.
I can say from experience that propane and natural gas cause respiratory issues.
ReplyDeleteI have a small 10x20 office in the middle of the woods. It isn't insulated, and it gets damn cold in the winter. I bought one of the "Big Buddy" propane heaters for the place. They are designed for indoor use unlike a barbecue.
It took a few years for me to catch on, but every damn time that thing was running, I would have a cough by the end of the day.
I checked all the plumbing, and there were no leaks. I worked with a nerdy friend of mine to do air quality tests....and we found that even the "clean burning" indoor-use propane appliances put out significant particulates into the air...and that's why I was coughing by the end of the day (and feeling sick) if I ran it...
I trenched electricity out to the middle of nowhere two years ago, and how I have electric heat. No more coughing or feeling like crap at the end of the day during the cold season.
Anyways, stay on target. Something's not wrong just because it's said by someone with a 'D' next to their name, and the same goes for 'R's.
Focus on the part that's actually wrong. It's not government's job to regulate my life or your life. They can go fuck themselves. Regardless of the character next to their name.
Sounds like you didn't follow the warnings that came with the heater:
DeleteThis heater requires a vent area of
18 square inches (example 4.25” x
4.25” opening) at the ceiling and at
floor level for adequate ventilation
during operation. Do not use other
fuel burning appliances inside.
Besides, there is a difference between using a gas stove for cooking that will only be burning for a few minutes a day, and using a gas stove with an open flame for heating that will be running all day long. You are comparing apples to oranges.
A "Buddy Heater" isn't the same a s a gas stove burner, now is it?
DeleteIf you can't tell the difference, perhaps you aren't as smart as you'd like the rest of us to believe.
Your "Buddy Heater" issue could have easily been fixed with some decent ventilation.
Got a Buddy Heater for the walkout basement to keep the pipes from freezing. It's close to a door that is not totally air tight, so there's ventilation. No problems with coughing and/or particulates - even when I ran it for two and a half days straight.
DeleteGotta get all those restaurants and businesses that escaped closing during the Fauxvid pandemic as well.
ReplyDeleteCome and Bake it
ReplyDeleteThis was such a stupid idea that Biden has already walked it back. That is, lied and said it was never considered.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. President Newsom will outlaw gas appliances nationwide like he's already done in California. The law takes full effect in new construction homes in 2030.
DeleteActually, he didn't do it. His hand-picked apparatchiks at the California Air Resources Board did it so that he had someone else he could blame.
It's actually it's a great fit, as now we'll have all electric homes to go along with all electric cars and all electric trucks, and all these things will be running on California's abundant renewable energy sources. Isn't it great?
Gas stoves work off-grid. That's what they don't like about that them.
ReplyDeleteThe newer gas stoves will only work without electric if you manually light the cooktop burners. The ovens won't work without electric due to sensors used to make sure the burners are working properly, much like newer furnaces do.
DeleteMy gas stove is a roadside rescue that I picked up this spring. I used it most of this garden season for canning/dehydrator prep under the shop lean to, keeping the heat and steam out of the house. Runs great on a BBQ tank. If the juice goes off I can drag it into the shop and -presto- hot food. So no, you can't have my unregistered stove.
ReplyDeleteHTR
I'm getting a solar powered stove!
ReplyDelete@LuisI Delusional.
A vented or unvented propane burner burns 100 LBS of air to every LB of propane. This causes a huge amount of water fallout in the air, I had old windows with metal frames and they would be dripping with sweat, Then the black mold set in on the window sweat. I only use vented heaters now. The kitchen stove is near the kitchen window, which I do open a bit.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand after the gas oven has run clean, about 15 minutes into the burn cycle, I close the windows and save the heat in the house, plus the cooking food smells good.
But yeah, so called breathing problems could be linked to excessive moisture with too much monoxide in the air. I don't know why they are saying "Methane" there's nothing methane about it. Dipshits.
Needless to say: Vented gas heaters don't produce a moisture or monoxide problem.
ReplyDeleteA cook stove doesn't make enough of a problem to mention, these people are grasping at straws, saying dumb-ass shit like minorities impacted most... It's all due to that toxic WHITE SUPREMACY It's like these people sit down and think; "What do white people like most and how can we fuck that up for them?"
Take your BBQ HONKEY
Run down to the hardware store in a panic and say: "I hear they are banning pipe flaring tools, I'm buying all you have!
