"Screw your oath to uphold the Constitution"

(WTVO) — After several Illinois law enforcement agencies said they won’t enforce the new gun ban, Gov. JB Pritzker had a strong response: Comply or hit the road.

“As are all law enforcement all across our state and they will in fact do their job or they won’t be in their job,” Pritzker said Tuesday during a press conference.

  1. Progs who cotroll the judicary do not make concessions. So the cops better submit their retirement papers in pronto or they'll be frog marched into the State holding cells by the State police gestapo.

    1. Exactly, Igor. Now I suppose the question is does does that fat fuck Pritzker not KNOW what the US Constitution says or does he not CARE that he is shitting all over it. I say he deserves a (VERY heavy duty) gallows and hang the fat fuck for sedition.

  3. Haha, look at that! A petty tyrant kicking and screaming when people don't do that he says. It's hilarious when the king declares a war and no one shows up.

  4. History shows us that the enforcers will follow orders.

  5. Bog, there aren't enough storm troopers to frog march even one sheriff dept. Most lefty enforcers are too cowardly to go up against quality opposition. A smart sheriff would deputize as many volunteers as necessary.

    1. They'll pick 'em off one at a time in the dark of night. And you can bet Biden's federal gestapo will lend a hand. Look at what they did to the Jan. 6th folks.

    2. The Jan. 6 folks didn't know they were a target and weren't armed.....

    3. ISP has 1800 troopers. There are 102 counties in Illinois, 80 of which are under 70,000 in population. I would guess in most of those counties the Sheriff's Department is right around 50, counting all employees but not counting jail staff.

  6. Lip service.

Most don't take that 'solemn oath' as seriously as we would expect them to. I'd be very surprised if ANY cops go through with their refusals, having become accustomed to regular paychecks, families to feed and pensions to protect.

Same with military. I have worked with recent graduates of the local officer's academy and not one could tell me whether their oath was to the Constitution or to their commander. It's just a box to check off during processing and they don't even know what the fuck they swore to, let alone care enough about to put their rank and career on the line. Shoes: Check, Socks: Check, Hat: Check, Oath: Check, Lunch: Check!

    3. Good cops would spend the majority of their time arresting the bad cops.

    4. Again, history shows us that the police and the military will follow orders. Right, wrong, constitution......none of that matters.

  8. Funny how some elected officials get to decide which laws will be enforced and others, like sheriffs, don’t get to choose. Hypocrisy!

  9. Gee, governor. Does that apply to sanctuary cities like Chicago and Springfield? Does it apply to federal drug laws?

  10. The cops can easily ignore the law. Just don't "see" an wrongdoing. How is the gov. going to know since the cops are not going to document illegal guns and then state they did nothing. Like Sgt. Schultz...I see nutthingggg.

  11. It'll just become a law they can selectively enforce to boost compliance from the peasant class.

  12. He can't do a damned thing to elected Sheriffs.
