SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Legal challenges to Illinois’ semiautomatic weapons ban began Wednesday with a federal complaint that the 8-day-old law prohibits “commonly possessed” and constitutionally protected guns.

  1. I checked a nearby gun shop in suburban Chicago. Maybe it's a computer problem, but there were zero rifles in stock. Pistols and shotguns still had inventory.

Go back to your country and try a teaspoon of this crap. You would be tossed off a building or have a burning tire placed around your neck. (Vice-Versa, respectively) Move away folks.

  4. "“commonly possessed” and constitutionally protected guns".

    *sigh*

None of them are "constitutionally protected". The constitution doesn't protect guns. The constitution tells government they can shove any gun law up their ass, and an armed populace lets government know we can make sure it gets shoved way, waaaay up there.

    1. 100% agree. Commonly possessed doesn't appear in the constitution and should not be used as part of their litmus test. It would be impossible to innovate with such a moronic test.
