According to an arrest affidavit, Metro police officers responded to the UPS facility in the 3200 block of Whites Creek Pike on Thursday, Jan. 19. Once on scene, they met with the facility’s security manager who said he was notified of a package that was shipped to Brady Steele that arrived without its contents.

That was nice of the news station to give the name of the gunowner, setting him up for future burglaries. How many men named Brady Steele can there be in the Nashville area?
Theft involving interstate commerce and what I would suppose is theft from a FFL should bring him Federal charges.
ReplyDeleteOne would hope.
DeleteWe don't get to play GTR anymore....?
ReplyDeleteMemory holed and nothing will happen but maybe a slap on the wrist with all this amish diversitie
ReplyDeleteBear Claw
I was hired as a driver during Christmas one year, but all I did was load and unload trucks at drivers wages. While loading a truck one day I came across a package wrapped in butcher paper you could literally see right through. It was a Ruger Blackhawk. I thought, hmm? I wonder if it will get to it's destination?
ReplyDeleteRemember when a NJ (or was it NY) paper doxed all the conceal carry permit holders, including names and addresses. Remember how pissed they were when someone doxed them. ANY time a journalist (said with disgust) doxes a person with a forearm, they need to be doxed in return.
ReplyDeleteI remember that and last year when the CA Attorney General doxed all the handgun owners in his state.
DeleteThis was in no way a childish retaliation for SCOTUS' NYSRPA v Bruen decision. (eyeroll)
Thanks for remembering Rob Bonta and the California DOJ 'data release accident'. It's the first thing I thought of when I read that ONE guy's name had been mentioned in Ken's article. Bonta's department's release made public hundreds of thousands of CCW holders and other gun purchaser's personal information, including SS numbers, drivers license numbers and physical addresses.
DeleteMy personal feeling is that the Dems gave what they thought might be interested parties a heads up that this was about to happen so they could be prepared, and that's why it took CA DOJ 24 hours to shut the release down.
This doesn't have anything to do with this story, but I was talking to our UPS delivery guy at work the other day. He typically delivers 20 - 40 boxes a day to us so we have time to talk shit while he finds them all.
ReplyDeleteHe threw out there that he makes over $40/hour. He works a lot of Saturdays and brings in six figures!
I had NO idea...
What kind of moron does it take to hire felons to handle shit like this? I guess UPS's biggest worry is that they actually try to enforce their drivers from making left turns. I was a Teamster for 30 years and could never understand all the bullshit that company gives their drivers. God forbid you're anywhere near a UPS depot at 8 AM. I've been doing 70 on I-95 in Phila at Oregon Ave and have had those box trucks pass me like I was stopped.
ReplyDeleteAnd I also remember when UPS and FedEx went Red Label and Priority Overnight with all handgun shipments, "to ensure security". (and help that ol' Bottom Line)
ReplyDeleteI believe that was a requirement from our lords and masters, not UPS/FedEx.
