Finders keepers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Nashville man was arrested Thursday after a BNA employee's gun was taken from a bush near the airport, say police.

Aniya Lyons, a cleaning service worker at the airport, stashed her gun in a bush by Terminal Garage 2 Level 2 Thursday morning, according to police.

  1. Well, this IS Tennessee, after all. Guns abound, many of the people I know carry on a routine, daily basis, and it's just safer to assume that everyone is armed. "An armed society is a polite society" and all that. Personally, from here in east Tennessee, I'm fine with that.

  2. There's got to be more to the story than that. I can't imagine he'd be arrested for literally finding something and taking it home.

    1. My thoughts exactly. The only thing I can think of is that the news folk heard the word "GUN" and just had to report on it. I have a funny feeling the the woman and man have some kind of a history. I also think he may have been set up.

  4. What was he charged with? Felon in possession of a firearm?
I'm actually surprised that she wasn't charged for leaving a firearm, probably loaded, where anyone could pick it up.

  5. What a dummy. All he had to say was that he got the pistol at a gun show loophole and the MSM would have made him a victim hero.

  8. Per the article "they" said she hid the gun there because she was late for work. WTF does that mean?
