LOS ANGELES (AP) — California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein — the oldest member of Congress — disclosed Thursday that she has been hospitalized in San Francisco and is being treated for a case of shingles.
I feel sorry for whoever has the duty the day she shows up in Hell.
So a DC-area military hospital wasn't good enough for your geriatric ass there DiFi? You know, so you could stay there and do your job? Had to go to some boutique Bay Area hospital?

Shingles killed my grandmother at age 90. It's debilitating if it breaks out in middle age, it's deadly in the very old. Somehow, I'll manage to not comment otherwise.
As someone who has had shingles twice, I can assure you it hurts like hell. My second bout was severe. It was so bad I was bedridden for three weeks. Feinstein is in her 90s so I'm not surprised she is hospitalized.
Having had a really bad case of shingles, yes, I do wish a really bad case of shingles on my worst enemy. Fuck them.

They do have extremely effective meds for that now... if you start early enough. I did have to cut her some slack for a few years because she DID actually see to it the SEC would pay attention to me when I was trying to prevent redwood timberlands being turned into rancherias, but I have loathed that woman for SO long. Still, while I'm with you on hoping it hurts like holy hell, I don't think I'd ever have wished death by shingles upon her... wouldn't've thought about it killing anyone before.
