The swift and organized police response to the school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday was roundly lauded by local officials and credited with preventing additional carnage and casualties.

  1. God Bless every one of those guys that responded as they did
I can’t imagine the horror of going in there or the horrific scene of shot up children
These are the ones that deserve paid administrative leave

  2. Go to the Feral Irishman and check out the CCTV footage. Also look at the foot wear in these.

  3. The locals did an excellent job this time around.

All the fancy gear in the world don't make up for a cowardly heart, Uvalde. Have any of the "heros" from that one been fired yet? It would seem that maybe Texas isn't as Texas as it thinks it is.

  4. I think that the reason that they responded so quickly is that they were just the regular city police and not the tactical and swat teams who have to take up to hours to get into all of their equipment and get their vehicles prepared, so that they can arrive after all of the problems are over.

  5. Nashville. Most of the cops I knew. Uvalde. The cops we all knew were useless. FTR. 30+ FF/PM Only DD fed more cops than my firehouse. There is almost always a gigantic table at the firehouse. The table was magic. You can say anything on you mind there. It's where we solve the world's problems. It also is where we come together. FF's, Cop's, Citizens. Even politicians. All of the good ones were welcome. All of the poseurs never made a second trip. Been gone a while. I wonder if it's still the way it works.
