One thing I remember about that show is you'd see a car make a crazy jump, get absolutely wrecked on landing, and they'd cut to it driving away fully intact without a scratch on it.
I know one of the guys that had the job of going around to buy 69 Dodge Chargers. They started off buying just 69's but expanded to the other year models of the same body design as the show continued. He didn't send all of the Chargers to be repainted as Gen Lee. He kept a few of the better optioned and put them into storage. He is driving a very nice 69 Dodge Charger Seabring right now that has all the options but only had a 318 engine.

ReplyDeleteIf you watch "The Terminator" you'll see the car in that movie be all dented up, and in later scenes, good as new...
