The implications of Walgreens’ decision on abortion pills

Walgreens says it will not start selling an abortion pill in 20 states that had warned of legal consequences if it did so.

The drugstore chain’s announcement Thursday signals that access to mifepristone may not expand as broadly as federal regulators intended in January, when they finalized a rule change allowing more pharmacies to provide the pill.

Here’s a closer look at the issue.

    1. And drugs with known benefits cannot be classified as Schedule 1. What's your point? Its like you think 100% of pregancies result in oh-so wonderful births. They don't. I'm my parents' oldest child, and their three pregnancies before mine all ended in miscarriages.

  4. Oddly the same people that want unlimited murder of unborn children are the ones that want all guns banned because someone might get hurt.

Because eating it’s berries will cause spontaneous miscarriage .
Those who want it will always find a way.

    1. Exactly.  Abortion, prostitution, addictions—you name it—it's an individual choice.  How do you choose to live your life?  A solution?  Don't have one; the only person's behavior I can control is my own.

  6. And yet, reportedly, Walgreen's would not dispense Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine during the recent Covid nonsense, even for those with valid prescriptions. Kind of makes you wonder what their priorities are.
