UT student arrested for possession of Assault Muskets
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A University of Tennessee, Knoxville student is charged with carrying weapons on school property after police took two muskets from his dorm room on Saturday.
Generally they are, but these were full-auto, had hign capacity magazines, an evil bayonet lug and didn't have the pescribed day-glo orange muzzle-brake
He will probably be in more trouble for the bayonets than the muskets. Neither are technically firearms, but bayonets are weapons in the eyes of the law.
Starker here, Didn't anyone else have a fit over "Musket Rifles"? I think they got the caps & powder as explosives. What if he was a history major participating in a reenactment? Where would he keep his gear?
but I thought muskets were always ok?

DeleteThey were probably assault muskets with hi-capacity clipazines capable of firing 100's of musket balls a second.

Don’t forget the “shoulder thing that goes up”. Very lethal.

ReplyDeleteThere are no knife laws in Tennessee. We abolished them all in I think 2017.
