Best toilet paper ad I ever saw came from one of the Scandinavian countries. A peach on a plate; a hand holding sandpaper appears and rubs the sandpaper against the peach (nasty result). Another peach, another hand with name-brand toilet paper, rubs it against the peach, peach is intact. Line: Which would you rather use on YOUR peach? [Name brand of paper.]
Not quite that bad, but the color should be gray with splinters!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I found in Turkey back in the '80s.
DeleteWe did use German TP as light sandpaper, it was about 400 grit IIRC. Cheaper than real sandpaper and easier to get.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the quantity of vibrant diversity they've imported, isn't the bare hand becoming the norm?
ReplyDelete- WDS
Forgot the wood splinters....

ReplyDeleteJa, das ist toilettenpapier. Extra-fine grit sandpaper on one side, slick on the other.
