Kentucky governor signs bill legalizing medical cannabis
FRANKFORT, Ky.--Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has signed legislation legalizing medical cannabis in the state.
Senate Bill 47 was passed by the Kentucky General Assembly earlier this month by votes of 26-11 in the Senate and 39 to 15 in the House with 46 members not voting.
There is only one reason that political leaders, mostly on the Left, are supporting legalization of this harmful substance, i.e. it is easier to extract honey from a beehive when the inhabitants are under the influence of smoke. And it is easier to extract freedoms from Americans when a substantial portion are stoned and docile, not to mention made more dependent on government by this "innocuous" drug.
This has been in the works for a while. I've worked in a few of the Delta 8 and hemp processing plants around here as a contractor. They all had the equipment for "medical" marijuana in storage.
Woot! Driving over the border to get my 'med' card!

ReplyDeleteI don't know about all that. I smoked weed for many many years and I've always voted Conservative.
DeleteUnlike when they are drunk out of their minds?
DeleteExpect Kentucky to go downhill from here. Oklahoma legalized it and you can't swing a cat without hitting a Cannabis store.
ReplyDeleteI'm in alberta. When the feds legalized it the town nearest me is under 500 people and has a store, the town of 10k down the road has 8 pot shops.
