Turn out the lights, the party's over

Germany will shut down its three remaining nuclear plants on Saturday, betting that it can fulfil its green ambitions without atomic power despite the energy crisis caused by the Ukraine war.

  1. All they have to do is get big electric motors to turn the generators. That way, everything will be electric and there will be no more evil nuclear and no more coal, oil or gas burned to generate electricity. I’m amazed that Biden hasn’t thought of this solution yet, and had Congress authorize big tax credits to those who implemented it..

  2. Why the German citizens are letting their government cuck them so hard is unbelievable.

  3. On the plus side, we'll never need to worry about Germany building a war machine and trying to take over Europe again.

  6. This is Germany, they're pulling the fuel to make bombs. Just me speculating because I don't know how that shit actually works.

  7. More of the short-sightedness of the greenies. They have a mild winter last year, so it is okay to eliminate the electric power that will be necessary should the next winter be harsh, or even normal.

  8. Actually this makes perfect sense. A nuclear power plant requires very specialized skills to safely run and maintain. Without those skills and parts you have a disaster waiting to happen. Germany is over run with rapeugees who have no skills, they will be the germans in 10 or 15 years and they cant figure out indoor plumbing, a nuclear plant wont be safely operated by the new germans.

Look at south africa, only african nation with nuclear power and they no longer have the skills to maintain it.

Germany is just accepting the inevitable and preparring for their future as an islamic shit hole.

    1. Hadn't considered that. I don't believe you are correct, but I do think it will be a surprise benefit of the move.

  9. Wow, I guess I better order parts for my vintage BMW now, it will be hard for them to find parts in a candle-lit warehouse and then put them in a horse-drawn wagon. I wonder how many people have to freeze to death next winter before they face reality.

  10. Germany and the rest of the EU nations are rolling over on the green agenda because a bunch of unelected bureaucrats were yelled at by a teen aged truant.

Instead of bending her over their knee, spanking her roundly and telling her to go back to school, these dumbasses cave after contracting with a psychopath for the energy needs to power their economies and heat their homes.

Then Bribem blows up Russia's nat. gas supply lines going into Germany from where they branch into the rest of Europe.

Really REALLY good plan on the part of the EU nations.

The only country in Europe that has citizens with any balls are the Dutch.

  11. Aug 16, 2022 headline from WSJ...

"Germany to Keep Last Three Nuclear-Power Plants Running in Policy U-Turn"

Stupid fkers should have heeded Trump's warning in 2018 to build LNG ports for our LNG exports

The media giddiness abt reporting how Germany minister "snickered" at Trump was literally headline news

Fast forward after Nordstream pipeline was blown up by joe* (whoever is running joe* BO) - Germany announced they are building 3 new LNG ports post haste - which would be operating now had they listened to Trump to begin with

    What a fucked up world
