‘We cannot protect our public’: Riverside County District Attorney

Top law enforcement officials from Riverside County, as well as the district attorney from a nearby county, held a press conference Wednesday where they leveled strong criticism against the perceived revolving door of justice in the state.

Pointing to a rise in crime, officials said offenders are released from jail too frequently. In the city of Riverside alone, police said commercial burglaries are up 31% compared to this time last year.

  1. Sheriff Bianco is a friend of the Second Amendment. He's long said that the sheriff can't cover all the bases and that citizens 2A shouldn't be infringed upon, as is so often is done by the Sacramento Sanitarium. Riverside county is a HUGE piece of land; larger than some STATES. Not only is it impossible to police the place with any efficiency, it's also a great place for the bad guys to hide.

...This is an interesting article, considering it's coming for the Left-Wing mouthpiece KTLA... I pray the pendulum is starting to swing the other way...

    1. Riverside County is slightly smaller than the state of New Jersey.

  2. People need to let this sink in. Neither the Police or any other government entity has any duty to protect anybody from anything. See Supreme Court Cases "DeShaney vs. Winnebago" and "Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales". The government does not exist to protect you or your rights. It exists to take away rights and rule you under a constant threat of government sponsored violence or imprisonment. Change my mind. https://mises.org/power-market/police-have-no-duty-protect-you-federal-court-affirms-yet-again
