‘Woke alerts’ launched to warn consumers of companies with left-wing agenda

The Executive Director of Consumers’ Research Will Hild joins Sky News host Rita Panahi to discuss the company’s latest initiative: ‘Woke Alerts’ to show shoppers which corporations are pushing a left-wing agenda.

“Any company that tries to distract from the mistreatment of their customers or the misdeeds in the market by going woke and posing up to woke activists…we will target you, we will come for you,” Mr Hild said.

“Groups like us are gonna name and shame.”

  1. Community activists should go to markets and apply stickers to help everyone be aware...as one suggestion.

  2. I wish it weren't so, but you cannot win with boycotts because there are too many brands to boycott. The parent company owns so many brands that you end up spending your money with the same suppliers anyway. Have you looked at all the beers owned by AB InBev? Most of the Budweiser's competitors aren't any better.

The best you can do is buy local for everything, if that's even possible. Even then, you never quite know for sure what ideology is supported. Maybe just brew your own beer.

  3. May your chains rest lightly anon @ 8:02 PM. But the apathy you express is one reason the right is so weak.

I'll keep voting my wallet where I can. Because kill the chicken to scare the monkey as they say. Boycott any of them effectively and the others will take notice. 2ndvote.org has existed for quite some time, it's sad that it's not caught on.

  5. Banks are even getting in the act. They're touting their ESGness by telling their depositors that they invest YOU DEPOSITS only in companies that are on board with ESG goals.
