Hey, he was trying to 'transfer' those guns

COOK COUNTY, Ill. - A Cook County man faces multiple felony counts after he was allegedly found in possession of eight firearms while his Firearm Owners’ Identification (FOID) card was revoked.

*****

"he was determined to be a clear and present danger by the Illinois State Police."

In other words, they red flagged his ass.

  2. Lemme get this straight, they knew he owned guns because he had a permit, then pulled his permit to make his owning them illegal, then pulled an effingbi style sting to arrest him.
    What. A. Load. Of. Crap.

    1. Sounds like the AFT pistol brace scam except on a county level.

    2. I love it when some dumb crime show talks about 'unregistered gun' in Florida. Um, dude, no registration here at all as long as it's not a machine gun and that's at the Fed level.

Register a gun? What? That's like registering my frying pan.

    3. Hey, a frying pan can be a lethal weapon. I learned that on Barney Google and Snuffy Smith.

  4. don't even get me started about how well the f.o.i.d. law works in the land of lincoln. just ask all them chitcago citizens how safe they all feel because of it.

  5. The Constitution is our right to purchase and bear arms. No FOID card necessary. That this individual had other issues is a completely separate issue. If he broke the law outside his Constitutional Rights, then the government can arrest him for those infractions. Otherwise, like it or not, they have to leave him alone.

  7. "Krumrie nor the driver were wearing seatbelts, so investigators pulled the vehicle over on Interstate 57 near Sauk Trail Road."

In Illinois we were told when they passed the seat belt law, that they would never do this....

  9. What they realized was he was under utilizing his guns in chicago. Every gun is required to be shot at someone in chicago. They decided to re-appropriate those guns who will make better use.

  11. No seatbelts and "smell of cannabis" coming from the truck were their pretext to search the truck. I'm sure guys who are driving from Illinois to Florida are smoking weed to pass the time along the way. Can I say that search doesn't pass the smell test?
