Hopefully not a staged photo as clearly Husband is giving his wheel chaired wife a bike ride along with what seems to be his daughter keeping an eye on them both.
When I was young I used to feel sorry for old people with a little oxygen bottle or something, but now that I'm getting old myself, I am freakin' proud of them. "You can slow me down but you can't stop me!" Never too old to rock n' roll!
Does make one wonder. I know my grandma at 90 was up for a motorcycle ride. Did not take her as I did not think she would have survived a road rash and that is always jus a slip away on a bike.
I had a 1972 VW van that had a lazy boy chair in the middle. We would pick up my wife's 90 yo grandmother in it and she thought that was the most comfortable car seat she ever rode in
My first thought was I'll bet in the day that ol gal rode her share of motorcycles. One last ride? Looks like a parking lot too. I say, go granny go.
ReplyDeleteThey musta forgot their helmets at the biker bar they just left.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to show respect, you let grandma make that decision. It's her life.
