Kiss my ass, Billy

In his first time speaking with reporters after his controversial calls for “order of protection” (red flag) laws, Gov. Bill Lee (R) defended his position, as well as the upcoming special legislative session that will be focused on gun control.

“It is a very important conversation that I think Tennesseans want us to have,” said Lee, according to WTVF. “We oughta find a way to separate those who are a threat to others and a threat to themselves from having access to weapons.”

  2. I still don't understand how these politicians figure that it is find to take a gun away from a person that is too dangerous to have it, or too mentally unstable to have it, but yet they are just fine to be allowed to stay free to roam the streets, able to carry a machete or a hatchet or ax or other sort of improvised weapon, and use it to kill a large number of people before someone intervenes.
Or they still are able to drive an automobile, and the damage that they can do to a large crowd gathered together, and the carnage if the speed at the time is fast, could be far worse than that done by a maniac with a gun, no matter how many rounds it holds.
I am still waiting for some word from the legal wizards about the shooting at the concert in Las Vegas, that supposedly was done by one man with a few guns with the dreaded bump stocks attached. It seems like that topic has chased the Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma City, and Bundy Ranch etc. murders into some very deep hole, never to be heard of again. Just because the powers that be don't want us to know anything about the things, it doesn't mean that they didn't happen.

    1. I just learned a couple of weeks ago that one of the two SWAT trigger men that killed LaVoy Finicum is the newest Superintendent of the Oregon State Police, appointed by Oregon's new radical leftist lesbian Governor Tina Kotek. His name is Casey Codding.

  3. Perhaps we should start circulating petitions between now and August 21st calling for Gov. Bob to resign...

    2. The Mulford Act.
He also signed the "1984 Firearm Owner's 'Protection' Act". Not really pro-2nd Amendment at all.

  8. The way you have to look at red flag laws is to imagine if you'd want them there with the most leftist and tyrannical form of govt in power. It would be very easy down the road for the Demonrats to suddenly say that all Maga people, or everyone who believes the 2020 election was stolen, etc.etc, doesn't get to own guns...The so-called "Patriot Act" is a perfect example of why we should never, ever, under any circumstances pass any red flag laws whatsoever.

    2. Yeah, one of my anti-American coworkers from the past said that only sane people should be allowed guns and anyone who wants to fire a gun or wants a gun is not sane.
