So they didn't learn a thing from the Bud Light uproar, huh?

After Bud Light and Target, The North Face has become the latest American brand to face a boycott for promoting Pride.

The company's Summer of Pride ad was released yesterday on its Instagram page and has already drawn ire from conservative consumers.

The commercial features drag queen 'Pattie Gonia' telling consumers to 'come out... in nature with us!' and declaring themselves  a 'real life homosexual!'

Hell, I've never even heard of this Pattie Gonorrhea dude before.

  1. All these businesses need to do is STFU, sell their wares, and make money for their stockholders.

Not too many people GAF what TNF, AnBev, or Target think about any of the shit they are so proudly announcing. Sell your poorly designed and overpriced Chinese made clothes, your imitation beer (if it's made with rice, it's not beer), or whatever and just SHUT UP.

  2. The only product of theirs I have bought was from an Estate sale.

  3. There are huge sunk costs in advertising and product design long before the consumer sees anything. These campaigns won't be changed until large corporations fold because of them. Temporary losses will be ignored. Losing sufficient revenue to cause a default on loan payments and subsequent widespread bankruptcy will be the only thing that will draw significant notice long term.

    2. North Face used to be an outstanding cold weather clothing brand. I wore their coats and snowpants for years. Wore.

  5. "Come out... in nature with us!" Said the guy with nothing natural about him. I bet he's more at home in a dark, windowless basement.

  7. The big corporate policy making people who believe their morals are the only correct ones will not change. Disney, Nike, Anheuser Busch, Target and other large companies are inanimate objects just like guns. It's the fucking people controlling them who are, at least in their minds righteous gods and others need to obey them or be destroyed. Think Jim Jones and Charles Manson.

  9. I'm not deep sixing anything purchased years prior from any company currently wokifying itself, instead, I'm wearing the thing to the threads and then never buying the brand again. As for my yeti cooler, it's painted cam and displays no logo.

  10. It’s almost as if these companies pushing this degeneracy are all being run by people who aren’t driven by profit but by something else…
Like they’re just one big (((tribe))) or something…

    1. Almost......but not really.

They are being pushed by ESG scores that allow them to access funding from companies like black rock. Without a sufficient score, there is no money.

    2. Surprised that you haven't mentioned the Harley Davidson Budweiser cans. The jokes write themselves here. You know..... something involving leather assless chaps.

  12. Pattie Gonia is a play on the name of one of their competitors, Patigonia. Pathetic schoolyard humor.
