COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Columbus Division of Police is missing around 160,000 rounds of ammunition meant for their officers.

But Columbus police are still on the hunt for the missing ammunition, and asked anyone who might have seen it to call them right away — particularly if you have purchased 5.56 ammo in recent weeks.
Asking for a friend, if one was to have purchased ammo in the Columbus area recently, should they store all of the ammo in ziplog baggies or ammo cans and discard the boxes they came in?
I think that Biden guy sent it to the Ukraine.

What does the Columbus PD need with 160,000 rounds of 5.56 ammo anyway? They expecting an outdoor concert, like in Las Vegas?
ReplyDeleteAnother news outlet here reported that it was practice ammo destined for the training academy.
DeleteWhy they need 5.56? Did Columbus start arming all their officers with M4's?
DeleteQ- When is an AR-15 not a 'Weapon of War'?
DeleteA- When it's a 'Patrol Rifle' in the hands of Officer Friendly.
Pretty funny, huh?
I think my neighbor might have it. Or should I say had? That's about how much he shot off this weekend. /Sarc
DeleteThe cpd is as woke as woke can be.
ReplyDeleteYeah sure, someone gonna call in and get nabbed on a possession of stolen goods charge.
I think CPD prefers to use the term "diverse". And they're right proud of it!
DeleteSold out the back door, by one or more of the gallant boys in blue
ReplyDeleteMy first thought, too.

ReplyDeleteThey really are that stupid!

I might know where the brass is.....
ReplyDeleteIf they could provide the serial numbers found on the tail end of the bullets, it would help us identify their ammo. Absent that, not a chance.
ReplyDeleteThey probably have over 500 officers and it wouldn’t be inconceivable to buy a thousand rounds of ammo for each officer
ReplyDeleteCrooked quartermasters are a cliche for a reason.
