200 arrests.....

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Nashville man arrested nearly 200 times in four years is facing a new charge.

Police say Thomas Harrell is known to dine and dash, running up $300 tabs and refusing to pay. Police just arrested Harrell again for walking out on a $67 dollar tab at Ruby Tuesday.

  1. He should move to Kalifornia where you can steal $950 per day without getting harassed by the police.

  4. This is why years ago there were institutions for these people. They got three hots, a cot and medical on site attention. Plus they were clothed. I believe if someone cannot function in society they should be under some form of supervision. I worked in a State Hospital for several years. No fences, no guards. There were locked wards and open wards. On rare occasion did anyone attempt escape. The locked wards were more for protecting the patient. Most were not violent. However, they were known to walk down Interstates, sleep on railroad tracks and just in general put their lives in danger. Some bunch of rich do gooders decided these folks were mistreated and fought to have them placed in society but not in their neighborhoods. This is why our streets are plagued with homeless with many of the females pregnant. These do gooders also decided the mentally ill could refuse medications if they chose too. In an institution maybe that would be ok but out in the community that's a bad idea.

    1. I tried that about 30 years ago and now I'll advise you against it. If you believe the "grass is always greener" it'll eventually bite you in the ass.

  7. If I was deemed incompetent, could I get one of those things that hang off your mirror like a handicapped thingy? Shit, I could park anywhere I wanted and eat for free pretty much anywhere (except Ruby Tuesdays)... What a life hack!

  8. Perhaps these establishments need to put up a gallery of "Do Not Serve" photos where the waitstaff but not the public can see them.

  9. Sentence him to five years of holding his own job, and also six hours a day, seven days a week, washing dishes at every establishment he robbed.

  10. Restaurants need to warn each other of that mug (with the mole), and post signs that state they can and will refuse service to members of society.

  11. We really need to make the slavery allowed by the constitution more explicit. Auction off the convicts instead of sending them to prison. Let people be a benefit to society to the extent they can.

But then you have guys like this. Some people just CANNOT manage their own lives in any way, shape, or form. Sometimes because they're mentally deficient, but more often they're just nuts. And a live of slavery under close supervision is really the best life they're capable of living. More kind and cleaner, healthier, and safer for everybody else than homeless camps and a life of drug abuse.
