A visitor was seen taking a selfie dangerously close to a bison while visiting Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park.
Video captured on May 20 in Wyoming shows a woman standing right next to a bison which was lying down and the person who recorded the video said they were in a "bit of disbelief" by the woman’s actions.
I have my own personal collection of photos and videos of idiots being idiots at Yellowstone from 2016. I should do a post on my own blog and put them up. The best one was all the morons that got out of their cars to take closeup and selfies of a grizzly bear. It should have eaten them.
Had the Scouts out on a hike in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife refuge and we came upon a huge bison bull laid up in the woods away from the herd. You can't get your mind around how big they are until you are trying to walk quietly past one while he watches you with those black eyes.
I hear the ATF is good at shooting innocent animals….
ReplyDeleteSome people are so insulated from the reality of nature they think the whole world in a big Disney Park, where nothing bad can happen to them.
ReplyDeleteWe're not complaining, as those idjits are put here for our entertainment.

ReplyDeleteMore proof Chuck Darwin was correct.
ReplyDeleteI've seen people do that in Yellowstone and elsewhere. It's REALLY funny when they do it with elk.

ReplyDeleteDarwin smiles.
ReplyDeleteNearing the south rim of the Grand Canyon a few years ago in the car, had a bull elk trot past us. Big as a tank, no way I'm getting out of the car.
