A new proposed amendment to a California bill would punish parents who refuse to affirm the gender of their children, which could result in loss of custody.
Lori Wilson and state Senator Scott Weiner proposed the new bill AB957, which amends the state Family Code addressing the “health, safety and welfare of the child” in every household.
