Not a manure spreader in the background. That's a forage wagon, sometimes called a chuck, or silage wagon. It's used to dispense feed into feed bunks and to load upright silos.
In ten years I can imagine those guys 'borrowing' Dad's $80,000 pickup and getting it buried up to the windshield after taking it to the local mud hole.

It may be difficult to tell the difference, but you have to run silage through a cow to get manure.
