Just call me Gimpy

LEHI, Ark. (WMC) - An officer with the Arkansas Highway Police is stable after being injured during a pursuit Thursday in Crittenden County.

Officer Thomas Evans was performing weight enforcement in the Lehi area when the local Sheriff’s Office dispatched a call for an attempted robbery at a nearby gas station. Officers with the highway police were the closest police units to the gas station and responded to the call.

    1. Any gun that an idiot picks up by the trigger.

  2. Not said in the article, so I surmise that Evans was in 'pursuit mode' when he picked up the gun. Hasty decision leads to injury.

A criminally-minded yout. Hmmm, very well could be that the gun was in poor condition or modified by the idiot after watching a video of how to superfire Ur gat.

Whatever, officer gimp should have been more careful.

Makes you wonder if they train these people how to clear a weapon, most simi-autos are similar, or do they hire idiots.

    1. My drug addled nephew showed me the rifle he got in partial trade in a bad drug deal. It was the most messed up rifle I'd ever seen. After checking it out, I said it would likely severely injure him if he tried to shoot it. It would chamber but firing it would be a stupid bet.
Plus, it was some low cost POS that repair at any price wasn't worth it.

That's what I had in mind when I read that Evans picked up the gun jettisoned by the thug.

(BTW: I told nephew to throw the rifle into the trash and get his shit together, like I aways do.)

  4. Most cops are generally ignorant about guns, barely know enough not to shoot themselves with their service pistol, and have some of the worst excessives of unsafe gun handling I've ever seen. And then act like they're the experts cause they carry around a holstered gun all day.

Most likely cause here - he grabbed it by the grip, put his booger hook on the bang switch and was just lucky it was pointed at his foot and not his dick.

Recall the FBI agent dancer who did a backflip, had his pistol fall out, grabbed it off the floor and hit some innocent person across the room? Same fricking thing.

    1. Oh Don. You're not new here so you should know better. Describing the trigger finger and the trigger that way earns you demerits.
