The left suffer from no such crisis. This is not to say they don’t have a conscience, but that they see over the horizon of their immediate actions, or are, more accurately, willing to accept that vision, however clumsily and fraudulently presented, as a cause worthy of soiling their hands.

The Bigger Issues
The crisis of conscience is what kills the right every time. They want to win, but they don’t want to do anything dishonorable in the process. They won’t take a stint in jail to win. They won’t intentionally inflict emotional or psychiatric pain on another person, even if that person is intent on inflicting the same sort of damage upon them. In one way, it makes a person proud to be among such fine people, but if that leads to drag queen story hour with children, it takes the shine off of that pride.

It is not the thought of a dishonorable act that limits the actions of the so called right. Actions are limited because there is one ruling cabal in government. Illusions of morality are created to keep the electorate thinking that there are differences and that the electorate have an influence and choice. The only choice is how fast which false party takes what it wants.

Do I want that? Hell no. None of us want that but we if they keep poking the bear, we will respond in an uncivilized manner because a lot of us are done. We resent the theft of our country and desperately want it back.
Many years ago I took an oath, the same one y’all did. That oath has no time limits; it does not expire and I will honor that oath, hopefully with many of like-minded men and women.

The right doesn't want to win, but keeps doing what loses. Anymore than the guy that works with you, who keeps going to the same bar, every Friday, getting "slipped" something "in his drink", and "waking up" on an oily tarp, surrounded by naked men, with an aching arse (but in a good way... you know?), every Sunday (just in time to shower and get to church), wants to be straight. He may not want to say he's gay. He might love being the straightest guy in that bar. However, he never had any intention of NOT going to that, particular, bar, again. Ever.
The R's LIKE being the underdog because the pay's about the same and the work isn't nearly as hard.
