What. the. fuck.

A Hawaiian honeymoon turned to tragedy earlier this month when one of the newlyweds died after an incident at a beach in O’ahu.

His new bride was also robbed of her bag and everything in it — including the keys to their rental car — while bystanders attempted to resuscitate him.

  1. Typical. No surprise here. Hawaiians do not use the word bums. which plague the streets and beaches. They say those people are living an Alternate Life Style and it's accepted by the liberals that rule and vote. Open sex on the beaches? All the time. Needles in the sand? All the time. Beautiful beaches trashed with shelters, garbage everywhere, stolen cars stripped down and shit everywhere? All the time. Many times I've seen a pig bent over and her man slamming it home. It's pretty disgusting.

  2. The locals HATE tourists, especially away from Waikiki, so not much surprised her.

  5. My wife was half Japanese and her family was from Maui. We went there many times and her family always shepherded us around the Islands.
They did warn us about the petty theft. Twenty years ago, nothing violent. But watch your stuff.

    1. John, It's changed in the last twenty years. I lived on Maui for six and got to hell out. In Kihei there is an area right downtown called, The Triangle. Don't be there in the night. Very violent. Lots of other places that are violent. My home was in a nice neighborhood about eight/ten blocks from the Triangle.

  6. This very white haole grew up on Oahu. I spent the 1st 15 years of my life there. Went back at age 26 and 27, and 2019 at age 61.

The 2019 visit was completely different. No beefs, everyone super friendly. Went all over the island, especially to the no tourist/locals only places I remembered. It was very weird because I had expected the challenges and stink eye from da hui.

But I doubt I'll go back. The place has little appeal. Way too 'progressive' for me. Even the formerly righteous push to regain sovereignty is soiled.
    Paradise lost.
