Don't worry, Hunter - Papa Joe will save you

A plea agreement between federal prosecutors and Hunter Biden was in jeopardy Wednesday as the judge refused to sign off on a deal that would have seen the president's son enter guilty pleas to two misdemeanor tax charges and enter a diversion program in lieu of pleading guilty to a felony gun possession count.

  1. I'm hearing there is a revised plea deal, much smaller scope, that the judge accepted. Which begs the question what, exactly, did the original deal consist of?

    1. It was unclear, and the text of the original agreement has not been made public, but the judge felt that by one plausible interpretation it gave Hunter immunity for nearly any other crimes he may have committed, whether or not they are related to the ones he was charged with. I suspect that the government wrote it ambiguously so right now they could claim it only covered the gun charges and tax charges, but later on Hunter's lawyers would have stretched it to cover acting as an agent of a foreign government without registering and soliciting and collecting bribes for his father. It was a sweetheart deal even for just the gun and tax charges, but if it covered other unstated charges it was very obviously a political favor to The Big Guy.

The judge wasn't having any ambiguity. He required the government to say exactly what would be covered under the plea agreement, and the government said it it only covered the gun charges and tax charges. That wasn't the deal Hunter expected to get, so there was no deal on that day.

The lawyers negotiated for several days. It sounds like once the government realized the judge would make sure the deal was clear and public, they would not go beyond the most limited coverage. That's still a whole lot better than going to trial on a bevy of 10-year felonies, with the evidence on at least one of them being a slam dunk, so Hunter finally pled to it.

    6. I have been hoping that the judge would throw the sweetheart deal out as it smacks of political influence and I'm sure the judge knows that.

From what I've read, part of the deal and what stuck in the judge's craw, was other courts and prosecutors would be prohibited from bringing any other charges in the future related to past crimes.

      Are you not entertained?

Que the shark music from Jaws, circling around the Bribem crime family. Right now we're at the slowly rising crescendo part, as the shark is closing in, still a bit before it strikes.

In other bribem family news, what is Jill Bribem doing in France, representing the USA at the resumption of the USA re-entering the UNESCO world. As far I know, she's neither an elected nor appointed representative of the government. If Joe couldn't attend for what ever reason, why isn't the Secretary of State or his representative attending that function? OH, and the MSM has nothing to say on the matter and there isn't much coverage from conservative press either.

So is she pulling a Moochelle Obozo, the crack whore who won the lottery, getting a vacation trip to Paris on the taxpayers dime with an entourage of girlfriends or is Dr. Jill Joe's new bag man?

  3. yeah, right. I really doubt that Hunter will ever see the inside of a jail cell let alone a prison cell in his life. does anyone really think the secret service agents will let his ass get arrested ?
never going to happen. daddy will cover up all of his problems. he has too. otherwise his ass will be next. old joe has always been a crooked SOB and that is not going to change.
besides, Hunter would rat him out in heartbeat to save his ass. dave in pa.

  10. I wish that they would throw him in Federal general Pop max security with a couple of Nice "Bull Queers". I would gladly pay to stream that from Pay-Per-View. The one that is big enough to do enough internal damage that he bleeds out gets his freedom!!
