SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A new -- and even more dangerous -- form of fentanyl has been identified in dozens of deaths on San Francisco streets last year.
According to a new report from the SF Medical Examiner's office, it's called fluorofentanyl.

Meh. Carfentanil is 100x more potent, and has been around for a long time. This is just mindless molecular modification running the table, probably because the fluoro analog isn't in some index of forbiddens yet. Mindless med chem at its finest, just cook the analogs if the precursor is available. Old rule: methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, futile. Grease only goes so far. Same with halogens. Usually, fluorine is a hard trick because the precursor is a stinker to get.
Somebody please give Hunter a large sample.
ReplyDeleteRE: Hunter's sample - NIH probably tests his for purity...don't want to get substandard shit or whacked by his ChiCom buddies.
