Over 96% of Firearms Related Deaths of “Children & Teens” are Intentional

U.S.A. — Over 96% of firearms-related deaths of children and teens are intentional. Much has been written about the number of children and teens (people under the age of 20) who are killed in incidents involving firearms as being more significant than the number of people under 20 who are killed in incidents involving motor vehicles.

  2. With Intent being so difficult to prove in court, I'm calling BS on the 96% intentional factoid.
96% of children do not have murderous intentions, despite the rainbow flagging.

    1. You're forgetting that the gun grabbers consider anybody under the age of 20 to be a child or teen. Now factor in all those gang members that fall in that age group and their shooting.

    2. Also recall that for legal purposes, "intentional" means everything that is not purely accidental.
Even reckless acts are intentional acts that cause unintended, but reasonably expectable, damage.
The pearl clutching "statistics" here simply mean that one of the usual suspects pulled the trigger.
Similar to the FBI claim about shooters and victims "knowing each other" as applied to gang rivalry shootings, to get people to believe that those are domestic disputes. John in Indy
