Stoffel, the honey badger that can escape from anywhere!

Record books describe the honey badger as the most fearless animal on the planet. Although barely a foot tall, they have a reputation for attacking just about anything - from venomous snakes to full-grown lions.

In South Africa, an eager scientist, a tenacious beekeeper and a patient conservationist all have a soft spot for these so called 'bad boys' of the animal kingdom, and each of them wants to discover if the honey badger's bite really is as big as its hype.

Maybe they should've just let Stoffel go. I mean, if he's that determined.....

    1. He keeps coming back (probably for the food), but why try to imprison him in the first place?

  3. We have Fischers here in NE-ish Pa. part of the same “family.” They’ve decimated the turkey flocks in my AO, and have been known to take fawns down as well.
The game commission has a short hunting season on them. They’re also re-introducing them to the state.Nasty little critters they are.I’ve not seen one in the wild here in over 30 years. Now I’ve gotten 4-5 different ones on my game cams.
    Like many things, SSS.

    1. Lol the deal here in TN is you're not supposed to kill snakes. Talking to a wildlife officer he laughed, just don't post about it on social media please, or I gotta come talk to you.

    2. We have plenty of fisher cats up hear in the north west Adirondacks. They’re not known for hunting turkeys but will occasionally grab off of a roost at night. There main diet is squirrels and grab them from their nests at night. Coyotes and Fox put a hurting on Turkey populations. Bobcats as well.

  4. Stoffel is great. He got mauled by a lion, and they locked him up to recover. Revenge on his mind, he escaped that night, broke into the lion's pen, and bit the sleeping cat on the testicles.

  7. Action Figure Therapy has a very funny series featuring a pet honey badger. Basically an active duty Army Ranger with PSTD trying to deal with stupid dick neighbors and idiot store clerks in general.

Of course, Randall narrating a video about the honey badger is a classic.

  8. I have a badger problem with my cottage in western NC. A 22 short low velocity will probably be the answer.

  9. Had a decent fisher population in NW Wisconsin. The porcupines were thinned out in short order. Stray cats in our city were also on the menu.
