    #10 is a great idea. I'm repurposing my old fridge as a mouse and moisture proof tool box for the garage. Now I have to find a side by side fridge for my long barrelled guns.

    a friend has a "gun fridge" in his basement. it has a padlock on it, and it's labeled "dead cats for taxidermy". the light works, and it makes noise like the fridge is working but it has a dehumidifier in it.

    he actually bought a few taxidermied cats to put near it to add to the effect. ain't no one brave enough to cut that lock.
