  2. I must be missing something. The few places that I have been to that actually had armed security, I was never afraid of getting shot. And there were there to protect the property, not the customers. Never did anything that caused them to interact with me. Sounds like the folks are apologists for shoplifting?

  4. Damn, some very California responses. All sympathy for the criminal who was beating the guard. ""Well I hope I don't get shot," said Andre Balic, a San Carlos resident who shops their weekly." "Others are questioning if security actually keeps them safe." ""Improve the laws where help people that need help."

    1. We help people that are poor.
A bit too much, which gives them no incentive to help themselves, other than helping themselves to other peoples stuff.

    2. Typical Marxist bullshit: "The laws aren't working - we need more laws".

  5. Getting hit in the head with a baton can kill you. Clear case of self defense, but that won't mean anything in Commiefornia.

  6. You'd have to be literally insane to be a private security guard in Kali. Expected to do the work the cops won't do and do it without the protection of "qualified immunity" that all cops hide behind.
