    1. It’s the head of Karine Jean-Pierre, the mentally deficient White House spokesman, with Joe Biden’s face superimposed.

  7. 15: nukes are awesome for baseload. Refueling outage, start it up, go to 100% power and stay there for 18 months, shutdown, refueling outage, repeat. Grid demand varies by 60% or more based on season. You really don't want to ramp nukes up and down for both economic and technical (xenon) reasons. So no 100% nuclear grid; maybe 40%.

    But yes, nukes!

    2. Just as coal fired power plants have more than one boiler, nuclear power plants have more than one reactor, for this very reason.
Run #1 with #2 idling until it's time for a maintenance turnaround, bring #2 online, shut down #1, perform maintenance, idle it until time for #2 turnaround, bring #1 online, shut down #2, repeat.

  8. Does anyone else have a problem with clueless fucks who obviously can't handle any kind of natural or man-made disaster, building & running nuclear reactors?

    1. Well, I'd like to take credit for making the memes, but all I do is collect 20 of the best memes I can find every week.
      Thank you, though.
