A man was found guilty of a scheme that resulted in over $400,000 worth of stolen vehicles across Southern California.
The suspect, Jean Parret, targeted car dealerships in multiple counties including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Kern and San Diego counties, according to the California Attorney General’s Office.
A few years ago there were some dummies in Colorado who ripped the wiring off of some irrigation center pivots then burned off the insulation and tried to sell the wire at a scrap yard less than twenty miles away. Span cable as it is called is a bear to strip due to a hard outer layer with a foil layer wrapped around eleven wires inside. Even burning will not reduce all the insulation completely. Couple that with the difficulty in removing all that cable [over twenty thousand feet in total] and there is a tremendous amount of work involved. In the end, all seven were arrested. An honest job would have been easier and they wouldn't have ended up in jail.

ReplyDeleteIn today's economy, that's about 8-10 vehicles. Hunter steals and spends more than that on coke, meth, crayons, and whores in a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteHow could he afford the gas for all those vehicles?
ReplyDeleteHe stole it. Duh.
