I'm not feeling any sympathy here for some reason

A young teen was hit by a monorail and killed while spray-painting the side of a building in Seattle, according to reports.

Xavier Gayton, 14, was visiting Washington State from Arizona and had climbed to the roof of a downtown building which was next to the monorail tracks.

  3. Feel the same way you do. But, that said, watching trains go by, there are some very talented taggers out there. They're the ones that make experiencing the annoyance of a slow moving train a tiny bit more pleasant.

  5. "Gaytan was born in Washington but moved with his mother to Arizona nine years ago. He was in town visiting family and friends for the summer." No father. Total parenting fail.

  6. Just another statistical blip in the 70%+ fatherless demographic. That monorail saved taxpayers millions of dollars in future costs and, most likely, saved one or more innocent lives.

  10. From the local news article - "Gardiner [his mom, gmd] told KOMO News. "It is an art form, and it is one that I respect and his father respects. However, we did have a united position on doing that safely and legally versus illegally and putting yourself in danger."
These assholes are similar to the hackers, spammers and virus spreaders, they have great talen, but use it in a misguided manner. Enroll him in an art class, let him do projects for the community or paint your own house.
We have about two or three generations that have no respect for private property, the laws or the community they live in (Note - not the leftist definition of "community") and have never had to face any consequences for their actions, well until now.
Que - momma and daddy suing the city for millions and getting a payout.
