I don't think it was malicious. It looks like he was just holding the table up for the photograph to be taken. The woman was doing the "Ta-Da" move to show she was proud. This is just a common case of lack of common sense and an understanding of gravity and physics.
Annie, you're an idiot. The horse spooked and ran himself off the road. Could have been a dog, a tractor, an ignorant tourist on a Harley or simply a loud noise that caused the issue.
We were cutting across NE Arkansas early one morning, our dad was driving. We went around a corner to see an Amish or Mennonite horse drawn wagon just ahead of us. The stern looking father, beard, hat and all, was driving, two little kids were riding on the tailgate of the wagon, a boy and girl, their hands held in prayer just below their chins. They never moved, but their eyes got huge as our dad whipped the car into the other lane and passed them. Dad laughed and said, "I bet they were praying I didn't run over their ass!"
Yep it's a horse. They will shy from a leaf if they get it in their head it's a threat...empty grocery sacks blowing in the wind are the spawn of Satan to a horse. To them everything but another horse is potentially deadly. They have the mentality of rabbits, in 3/4 ton bodies.
#1 Chronic understaffing and insufficient work space leads to this. #4, 8 Just became meat horses. (I really don't like horses.) #5 Needs to have the stupid slapped out of him. #9, User error, carelessness, and a great example of why safety glass or tempered / laminated glass is used on front ends of buildings. #10, Bad management, OSHA / unsafe working environment.
Snorkel, high lift jack, matts, jerry cans, cool t-shirt, aviator sunglasses and no ability. He only drives his rig in fair weather, smooth roads, 3 miles to work. Was showing what a man he is today. Daryl
The blue was the back side of the puzzle pieces. He had it tilted for viewing, then straightened his arms and lifted it almost vertical. Looked intentional - or he is beyond stupid.
#5. Someone should have their ass kicked.

Delete#8. Good job! The Amish treat their horses terribly.
ReplyDeleteThey are just a tool.....
DeleteInteresting, not around here, they are well cared for and usually well trained. Almost all of them are race horses bought at meat markets.

Delete#9 Darn good thing that was safety glass.
ReplyDeleteJohn G
True. That's what I think whenever I see someone crash through a plate glass window.
DeleteThe glass I went through wasn't. I was sliced pretty bad. I was nearly sliced in half except for the quick response of a passerby.
Yeah, I hope she was okay after that.
Delete3 is more betterer when it's your hair caught in a creeper when you're under the middle of a car.

3) You should see what happens when they run over a fresh dog turd - perfect circular patterns of shit all over the floor.
