Maybe if she didn't have her head up her ass.....

A San Diego woman is suing a national trash and recycling waste management company after she was hit by one of the company truck’s metal tines.

Surveillance video from the incident that took place in February 2021 shows the woman, Deanna Beck, walking through the parking garage of an apartment complex, when the driver of a Waste Management Services truck backed up and hit Beck with the truck’s metal tines, resulting in her falling to the ground.

*****

Seriously, watch the video and tell me how she didn't hear or see the damned thing coming.
Reminds me of  how I can be slowly backing out of a parking spot at a store with a van or large truck blocking my view, I'm talking I'm already rolling, and more often than not I'll have somebody walk right behind my moving truck.

  1. Your "seriously" remark applies to even just backing out of your driveway these days. Parents don't pay attention to their kids at play, expect everyone else to. When the kid runs out behind a vehicle backing out and get hit it's not the kid or parents fault and a law suit happens. Reminds me of Baltimore in the 60's, when a certain species heard sirens they ran out to "play" in the street hoping for a wind fall.

  2. It seems to have gotten much worse lately with rude dumbasses walking or driving behind a moving, backing vehicle. Not just starting, but halfway out of the parking spot.

  3. She sees the driver driving forward and begins to walk, as she walks, she swivels her head to the right to check for any oncoming traffic. Vechicle driver that drove forward stops, and without looking behind, puts vehicle in reverse and begins to back up.
    Now...whose fault was it really?

    1. Those trucks have back up alarms on them, and SHE was on HER phone. How was she that unobservant? If the driver was on his phone at that time, you may have something on him, too, but personally, I think she acted the bint.

    2. On review of the video, I would agree. Vehicle was moving away from her walking path and then stopped, put in reverse and immediately backed up into her. Even with back up alarm, driver didn't give anyone enough time to register the alarm and move out of the way before slamming into her. Whether the driver was on his cell phone or not doesn't matter, if your backing up a vehicle, you better look to make sure your not going to hit anyone.

  4. This is what happens when you have 2 fucktards paying attention to their phones instead of the world around them. Driver was on his phone while operating the truck ( fucktard 1) and she walked right behind a moving truck lining up for a dumpster (fucktard 2).

    1. I watched the video several times. You must have some kind of magic vision if you saw the driver on a cellphone.

  5. I used to drive my disabled brother to the V.A. Hospital at 39th and Woodland in Philadelphia. 39th is right at the West border of University of Pennsylvania - coincidentally my employer for about 35 years. There is a traffic light at 39th & Spruce, but you wouldn't know it by watching any of those little darlings walk out into traffic oblivious of the red light. Maybe because I worked there, I was aware that the mindless robots (AKA - Penn students) walking to class were completely unaware of anything but their cell phones. It kept me from creaming any number of them.

  6. Its an attitude issue.
I AM A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE!!! You will wait for me to walk behind your truck.
I do not wait for you! I am the snowflake.

  7. We don't teach kids how to cross the street anymore. School crossing guards teach them to just go when they're told it's safe. They grow up, and you get those people that walk out of WallyWorld in front of your car and they don't even look.

  8. C'mon Cutter. The cute puppy video they're watching on tik tok is more important than your life, livelyhood and truck.

  9. Bet the driver never even saw her. I like the guy in the door, watches the whole thing and then jumps in surprise. She got speared pretty good. Think she'll learn?
People are really fucked up out there.
