In today's video, we go over some of the lesser know rolling stock the world has to offer. This includes the Peacemaker Rail Garrison, Santa Fe's Super Hopper, Hogshead Tobacco Cars, and much more!
There are two BNSF sidings that I have seen rare railcars idled, both since March.
One siding has 120+ 40-foot container cars and the other has around double that.
I say they're rare railcars because I've never personally seen them idled. Grain cars in winter, ore cars in summer, flatbeds, lumber cars, hobo homes, tankers, hoppers, I've seen them in multiple sidings off-and-on over the years, but container cars have always been in full use.
Ed Dowd is looking correct in his "glacial Mad Max" call with 30% of the workforce knocked out by the Fauci Ouchie.
