CHICAGO — A North Side community group is calling for people to refrain from shooting guns in Chicago between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. to reduce the risk to people “not involved in high risk activities.”
The proposal from Rogers Park-based Native Sons, known as “The People’s Ordinance,” was recently promoted in an email newsletter by Ald. Maria Hadden (49th).
That's right, appeal to their innate decency and moral sense. 'Cuz gangbangers are known for their civic-mindedness.
Do these froot loops have any brilliant recommendations for what should be done between 9 PM and 9 AM? How about they consider implementing some commonsense negro control?
Wow, what a great idea! I wonder why nobody ever thought of this before. I see another Nobel Peace Prize coming up, along the same lines of Barak Obama. If only all of our problems facing us were so easily solved. I mean, other than President Biden just waving his hand and saying they are solved. Then again, it worked in the book 1984. “War is peace. This isn't an appeal to whatever conscience is left in the criminal. This is the pretense that a criminal is just as neighborly as anyone else.
