There's nothing 'stealthy' about it

Gun dealers have lost their licenses this year at an unprecedented rate, with critics accusing Joe Biden of undermining the Second Amendment by stealth.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has revoked the licenses of 122 gun dealers in the fiscal year that began in October. The previous fiscal year the figure was 90, and in 2021 it was only 27.

  1. Just like a cop stopping someone. They have all the traffic laws on the books to fuck you over. So now no longer will ATFer say to the dealer "Oops you put the period in the wrong spot so please correct it.". At least the dude who gets a traffic ticket for a dim parking light can hire a lawyer to go to court, but the ATF is Thor's hammer.

  2. yup. they want to outlaw guns so bad they can taste it. after all it is only the guns that stop them from doing what they really want to do to us. RULE. as in like the kings of old. power of life and death over us. one thing my parents agreed on was that. with the 2nd they would do anything they wanted to. having a gun removes the option of force , so they have to talk us into doing what they want. the big problem now in this country is that there is a lot of stupid people who do not think for themselves these days. dave in pa.

  3. It’s not just revoked licenses. I know a number of FFL license holders who have given up their licenses because of increased ATF harassment - citations for the slightest administrative infraction, almost monthly inspections (as opposed to two or three times a year), demand for customer’s personal information, etc.

  4. They, are making a list, and when all transfers go through an ffl they will have everything they need. When they pit a ffl out of business they take possession of all of the 4473s.

  7. I'd call this another example of "Lawfare". The use of the law as a weapon. But there's is nothing at all legal about what BATFEces us doing.
