Uh-huh, who didn't see this coming?

On Saturday, Stockton, California police revealed they are investigating two 7-Eleven store clerks for assault after a video of them beating a would-be robber went viral on the Internet.

In a post on Facebook, the Stockton Police Department said it "was able to combine the investigations of the suspected robberies and suspected assault" because of the "diligence of a witness recording" the event that took place on July 29.

  1. As always, never ever video yourself, or allow yourself to be videod, while adjusting the problem you've come across during your daily travels. The unfortunate truth is, WE NO LONGER LIVE IN A SANE WORLD. We must adjust, throw the waste into an off site dumpster, and go on with your life. The urban approach to S.S.S.

  5. I hope somebody sets up a GiveSendGo account for these guys. (I'd say GoFundMe, but they won't take ordinary people ground down by the system.)

  7. As soon as I saw the vid and it was California i knew the clerks were fucked. They aint black and they likely aint liberals with that work hard attitude. The guy videoing sounded like a country man of the thief with his let it go, you have insurance attitude.

  8. The only crime here was failing to either stop the helpful “witness” from recording it, or separating him from it and then destroying his phone after he’d already been told not to record in the first place.

Snitches get stitches. Something this witness needs to learn. Hopefully someone takes him to class soon.

Maybe jury nullification will save them .

  10. If the police go after the store clerks it will be one step closer to people fed up with what is happening and them going after the criminals, corrupt police, do noting DAs, corrupt Judges, and corrupt politicians. This happened in the past in California after the gold rush in San Francisco and it was solved by vigilantes until laws were enforced.

  11. The witness recording the event can be heard asking the victim to hand him cigars....not a reliable witness in my book.
